Sol Systems develops and finances renewable energy projects in the U.S., helps customers ranging from large corporations to municipalities procure clean energy, and manages environmental commodities such as renewable energy credits. In partnership with local leaders, Sol Systems works to create positive change in communities that are under resourced and vulnerable to climate change. KKR made a significant minority investment in the firm through its Infrastructure fund in 2021 and committed up to $1 billion to a strategic partnership that aims to develop and acquire utility-scale renewable energy and storage projects.
